I know Halloween Monster themed cereals is a thing in North America but I'm not sure if it was/is sold outside of North America. They were introduced in 1971 and there five types: Count Chocula, Fraken Berry, Boo Berry, Fruit Brute, and finally, Fruity Yummy Mummy. Most of this sugary cereal regular production was stopped in the 80s/90s but it comes out seasonally for Halloween. I never ate these as a kid because apparently pop-tarts were okay but this shit was too sugary, according to Mom's logic. So naturally, as a mature adult and Halloween nut, when I saw two of the five in stores I wanted to grab one and see what I was missing out on. I picked Boo Berry because frankly, the mascot looks like he should be called Booze Berry. Tell me this cartoon ghost doesn't look a little tipsy:

Here's what the actual cereal looks like. It's hard to see here but the cereal bits are dark purple, I don't know why they're showing up as brown. Taste wise, it does taste like blueberry and tastes fine. If you don't like sweet cereals then you won't like this but if sweet cereals make you feel nostalgic for cartoons on Saturday morning, it'll fit that craving.

Finally, on the back of the box there's cut out mask for a instagram contest which I'm undoubtably going to cut out for shits and giggles.

Anyway, that was today's Halloween themed post. I'm off to visit my parents and I hope everyone is having a good sunday!
