Random and tv geekiness
If you ever feel down on yourself, look at Martin Shkreli and take solace in the fact that you’re not in the running to be the world’s biggest douche. I know, there are a lot worse people in the world and in comparison to all the evil in the world he’s tame but man, doesn’t he just have a face you want to punch?

Kim gets it.
Anyway, life a.k.a work is still busy and I’ve been filling my free hours with either books or television or small amounts of gaming. John’s trying to get me into Borderlands 1 & 2, which is fun but all I can think is that I need to get back and finish DragonAge so I can justify moving on to DragonAge Inquisition. I could write about life stuff but lately I’ve been itching to be a bit fannish and post about the stuff I’ve been watching. Cut for possible spoilers and so I won’t eat your friend’s page.
The Flash - As always, Cisco is my favourite character and we got a double dose of him with Reverb this week. I’m rather enjoying Earth 2 so far, largely because of Barry & Cisco’s geeking about the differences and it was great to see Caitlin as Killer Frost finally. Sure, she’s still stuck fawning over a guy but at least she’s got some fun powers. It’s funny, I was initially excited to see Jay Garrick come to the show but now I sort of want him to leave just so Caitlin could have something else to do besides be part of the blandest love interest storyline. For a while I was hoping Garrick would somehow turn out to be a villain just to make things interesting but I doubt it’s going that way. Anyway, I’m looking forward to seeing how Barry fixes the stuff he’s screwed up on Earth 2 and Cisco & Wells being Cisco & Wells.
Arrow - Yay Nyssa came back. Is it too much to hope she decides to crash at Laurel’s place for a bit now after disbanding the League of Shadows? Thea, Laurel, Nyssa can train and hang out and fun times. I hope she sticks around for Oliver & Felicity’s wedding at least because that would hilarious. I’m sure the wedding is going to be an angst-fest because it’s Arrow so I’d like there to be some fun shenanigans. It’s funny, for a superhero show Arrow is starting to come off more like a soap opera to me now with all the romantic ties and secret kids business.
Legends of Tomorrow - So there’s a theme going on here, isn’t there? What can I say; I love my comics and my comic franchises. I’ve been enjoying it, quite a bit even though I can admit there are flaws. I just don’t care because it has Leonard Snart & Sara Lance, two of my favourites from Arrow & Flash. I like pretty much all the characters with the exception of Carter, who is thankfully still dead and hopefully stays that way. Anyway, the highlights of the show for me really have been seeing Sara kick ass and watching Ray & Snart bond/snark on each other.
Once upon a time - So I’m finally starting to catch up and I’m currently in the middle of season 5 and so far it’s better than I expected although I still miss Ruby. I had originally stopped watching when the Frozen characters came in because I was burnt out on Frozen at that point but now, after giving it a second chance I have to admit those characters weren’t bad at all. Of course, as long as there’s plenty of Regina I am pretty satisfied. Out of all the new characters introduced I have say I found Cruella DeVille the most interesting/fun in a over the top way, which was a surprise since I was never a big fan of 101 Dalmatians and she was one of my least favourite villains, what with the whole skinning puppies thing. Too bad she got offed.
I’ll probably do a post about books and life stuff soonish but I think that’s enough fanning about for now.
