Re-reading some of my older posts and I noticed in one post I was debating whether or not to back the Kickstarter for Good Society: A Jane Austen RPG which amused me. I did back it after and just this past October I received the books and cards for this RPG. It's really neat though I haven't had the opportunity to play yet. I want to fully read the books to familiarize myself with the rules and structure before seeking out online opportunities to play. Is it weird I just like having RPG books even if I don't get to play the games?
I'm hoping that will change in the future but I dunno, I've a tendency to pick up and put down and pick up again hobbies which is easy to do with knitting, crocheting, painting, playing video games, blogging, and a slew of other solitary stuff. That's harder to do with RPGs because it involves other people and I don't want to get involved with a game if I can't maintain the stamina for scheduled games.
My currently hobby obsessions are knitting and playing Sims 4. I've been learning a diamond lace pattern which is a little challenging for me since I don't knit very often, I tend to crochet more often and find those patterns easier to read. As for Sims, I'm trying my hand at the Not so Berry legacy challenge, essentially playing along with Kelsey Impicciche's Not so Berry Let's play. I'm weirdly obsessed tbh, probably because I find I'm doing different game play than I'm used to.
