It's friday and work is over so...

I've been pretty stressed at work lately (about work and other stuff) and people have noticed more than I thought. Or at least my department head noticed. She commented on it and gave me the same advice she gave her girlfriend about taking a decadent shower to relax. Showing after the gym will have to do but I'm thinking that will help with the stress. I also put in for a few vacation days in November. So far I'm feeling better already...but then getting off work generally makes me feel that way lol.

There's no major plans for this weekend, aside from checking out Crimson Peak with a group of friends on Saturday. Ultimately I'm just aiming for cleaning and relaxing and maybe making soup. Oh, and watching Halloween/horror themed stuff naturally. Lately we've been watching Scream Queens which I have to say I am enjoying. It's got issues but it does remind me of a gorier, sillier Heathers which is one of my favourite 80s films ever.Scream Queens is sadly lacking a decent JD or Veronica type character but Chanel 1 makes a great alternative Heather 1.

Same here though I haven't watched it yet. I got the DVD last year but before that it was usually watched on the old VHS copy my aunt eventually gave me after I borrowed it a hundred times.

I FRICKING LOVE SCREAM QUEENS. AAAAAAH. It's hilarious, and just really well done. Emma Roberts is brilliant (even though you could argue she's just playing the same character she did in AHS: Coven... whatever)

Oh yeah, she is but I don't care. I enjoyed her in Coven and I'm enjoying her here. Can't wait for tonight's episode XD

I never actually saw Heathers until I was in university which blows my mind because I was a huge Christian Slater fan when I was a kid/pre-teen. I wholeheartedly agree with it being a classic though.

Oh man, i used to loooooooove Heathers. And it was set in Ohio, which was exciting as a kid, lol.
But it's so twisted. My mom really should have paid attention to what i was watching so young, lol. (I also watched a lot of Rocky Horror as a like, 4th grader D: )

Something MUST be going around since everyone seems to be stressed from work. At least you planned some vacation days for some mental days. I'm going to be doing the same for this Friday and then I have a four day weekend thanks to Thanksgiving!
